Frisco ISD’s Carroll Elementary School recently raised more than $2,100 for the local non-profit organization, With Love It’s a Small World.

The school hosted a bingo night and silent auction to raise money for one of four charities, as voted on by fifth grade students.

The winning charity was Small World, which supports Frisco ISD families in need through back-to-school and holiday donations, scholarships and support for homeless students.

One fifth grade student, Michael, helped convince his classmates to support Small World. His grandfather Jim White has been a board member of the organization since 1998.

Carroll students and staff presented Small World with an over-sized check during a school-wide assembly in February.
